The 3DEM application is a helpful application developed by Visualization Software LLC.
• Multiple SRTM and USGS DEM files can be read and visualized.
• Perform simple reprojections (WGS84 to UTM)
• Gaps in the data can be detected and interpolated if needed (patch missing data).
• The whole or just portions of the DEM can be extracted and used in TopoFlight.
• Save your data as Terrain Matrix in WGS84 (binary signed integer) and import it as Matrix DTM into TopoFlight (or save it in another file format and prepare the data in Globalmapper before importing it to TopoFlight).
